August 31, 2007, Newsletter Issue #23: The Disney Mix Stick MP3 Player

Tip of the Week

Shopping.com Tip: Not to be left out of the MP3 player craze, Disney has launched its own answer to the Apple iPod; the Mix Stick MP3 player.  This stick mp3 player, which has a navigation wheel that looks like Mickey's ears, is designed to hold downloaded music, copy music from CDs and accommodate Disney memory cards.  These memory cards, called Mix Sticks, hold prerecorded Disney music and have a storage capacity of 128MB with USB connectivity.   There is also an expansion slot to allow up to 1GB of additional storage.

It sells for roughly $50, and comes in a chrome, as well as a Tinkerbell version.  It supports WMA format music, too.
